There are many ways to get help and support from the Library, Archives and Learning Services. This page contains links to skills guidance and training you can work through at your own pace, as well as services you can contact for help via email or booked appointment.

 

Use the Humanities Library Skills VLE Sites

 

Remember that as Art and Humanities students you also have access to dedicated Library Skills VLE sites, which contain a wealth of useful information and materials for you to consult whenever you need, at all stages of your time at the University. Each year there are some materials,  such as the Introduction to Library Resources and Searching for Academic Sources tutorials, that we ask you to complete within a certain timeframe. Please check the Course Content area of your year-group's VLE site for more details on what to do and when:

Research

The Open Research Team can help you plan, publish, preserve and share your research, and have expertise in Open Access, Research Data Management, and copyright, among many other things.

IT help

You can get IT Support from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, on the phone or over email. You can also get assistance at the Library Help Desk, although it may be quicker to contact IT Services.
