Learning online

It can be tricky to get up to speed with studying online, when all your learning is taking place over the internet. We've put together a guide with information on working off campus, communicating online, being digitally organised and a lot more. It's really well worth a look:

Welcome to the Subject Guide for Law

Welcome to this Subject Guide, which brings together key resources and information for students and staff in the Department.

What's happening over the vacation period?

The first thing to remember is that, as of now the Government advice around face-coverings has changed. As of now, it is strongly advised that face coverings should be worn in all communal areas by all staff, students and visitors (unless you are exempt). Please help us with this. We need you to do your part in keeping all of us as safe as possible.

Here's all you need to know about the library over Christmas.

Dec 6: We move to a blended approach of bookable and non-bookable study spaces. Vacation period begins. December 13: We’d really recommend you get any Scan & Send requests in by this date, and UK Postal Loan requests too. (Overseas requests: do it right now!) December 24: The Library closes at 4pm, and reopens December 27 (9am – 7pm). December 31: we’re open 9am to 4pm. On January 1 we’re closed, reopening January 2. January 10:  24 hour opening returns for the exam period! The Library will open from 8am on Monday through to midnight on Sunday January 16. January 17: Our regular 8am – midnight opening hours resume.

We hope this all makes sense - here's a News article all about the new blended approach to study space bookings. In the meantime, get in touch if you have any questions
