These pages bring together key resources and information for staff interested in producing their own scholarship on Teaching and Learning or who are interested in evidence- based approaches to enhance practice.

Use the Find resources tab to explore these recommended information sources.

This guide includes some of the resources available on the Education subject guide where relevant to Higher Education contexts, as well as resources and guidance more specific to SoTL activities.

The SoTL Network

The SoTL Network is comprised of staff interested in engaging with current and seminal research in Higher Education Studies and related disciplines, as well as supporting, developing, and disseminating their own scholarship on teaching and learning at York. It consists of a regular “journal club” seminar, research presentations, guest speakers, and an in-house “working papers” journal.

Further information, resources and access to the journal is available on the SoTL Network webpages.

If you are interested in joining the Network, please email academic.practice@york.ac.uk.
